Join our geosciente and offshore department
The Geology & Geophysics discipline consists of more than 20 skilled colleagues specialized within geology and geophysics. The discipline serves as the centre of excellence for geophysics in COWI and we apply our services across all relevant COWI projects and geographies. We embrace cultural diversity and highly value our social and cooperative friendly environment.


 


We deliver geological and geophysical services for projects within renewable energy, infrastructure, urban development and environment in local and international teams. Our cores services consist of: 


•    Onshore geophysical surveying, processing and interpretation 
•    Offshore survey management, data quality control and site characterization 
•    3D geological and geophysical modelling 
 
As an Associate Technical Director within geophysics, you will be part of the discipline leadership team and will have the opportunity to influence the direction and the professional development of the discipline. You will become a part of a multidisciplinary section, delivering high quality consultancy within geology and geophysics. The section consists of specialist in different areas, such as electrical resistivity, ground penetrating radar, shallow reflection/refraction seismic and air-borne and land-based EM methods. Together we create a dynamic and high-quality professional work environment.

We look very much forward to hearing from candidates who resemble the following:


 

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience from a similar role
  • Preferably holds min. a M.Sc. within Geophysics or Geology
  • Understand the importance of driving growth through your network in the market
  • Project Management experience
  • Solid experience in near surface geophysical methods, principles, and applications
  • Fluent in Danish or one of the other Scandinavian languages


 
Location
The discipline is located across our offices in Lyngby, Aarhus and Vejle, hence we would prefer to hire for these locations. However, COWI also has offices in Aalborg, Esbjerg and Odense. For the right candidate we would be open to discuss these work locations.
