Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and expand our Microsoft Fabric data platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Implement robust data ingestion pipelines, primarily using PySpark, from SAP and various external sources (e.g., handheld operational scanners, 3rd party distributors).
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand and translate use cases into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Suggest and justify enhancements to platform architecture, adhering to existing guardrails while continuously seeking improvement opportunities.
- Maintain an efficient balance between new feature development and ongoing platform maintenance.
- Act as a bridge between technical solutions and business teams, proactively communicating and facilitating data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Developing or optimizing PySpark-based data ingestion pipelines from source systems.
- Writing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL-based data transformations.
- Participating in collaborative meetings with business stakeholders to discuss requirements and demonstrate solutions.

- Engaging with external senior experts occasionally to discuss architectural decisions or complex issues.
- Contributing to documentation, training, and knowledge sharing within the business teams.
Hard Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar end-to-end data platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake).
- Proficiency in SQL and experience building and maintaining complex data pipelines.
- Practical experience with Python, especially PySpark for data ingestion and transformation.
- Basic familiarity with Azure infrastructure components (e.g., Azure Blob Storage).
- Experience integrating enterprise applications (e.g., SAP) and external data sources is highly advantageous.
- Strong communicator, able to explain complex data and platform concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly collaborative and able to independently manage technical tasks while maintaining open dialogue with business users.
- Proactive attitude towards engaging the business in using and understanding data.
- Curious, growth-oriented mindset—able to develop from a mid-level role into a future senior or leadership position.
- Flexible location (Nordics or any Nexi locations possible).
- Opportunity to significantly shape and influence the growth and direction of a critical data platform within a supportive team environment.
- Professional growth, including access to senior experts and training opportunities to accelerate your development into more senior or leadership roles.
