About The Team

The PLE Maintenance team in Engineering comprises 10 dedicated technicians, engineers, and coordinators with a strong focus on personal development, collaboration, and high professional standards. We operate with a flat structure where every contribution matters and decisions are made collaboratively. Our culture emphasizes ownership, continuous learning, and mutual support. We work closely together to maintain critical production equipment and promote a safe, innovative, and engaging work environment.

About The Role

As a Student Assistant in our PLE Maintenance team, you will be primarily responsible for:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the PLE Maintenance team (e.g., data entry, document control, coordinating small tasks)
  • Lead the facility mapping initiative by collecting and verifying the Process and Instrumentation Drawings (PIDs), building layouts, electrical and utility drawings, service and maintenance agreements, and spare-parts inventories, etc.
  • Consolidate information into our CMMS or a central digital repository, ensuring accuracy and ease of access for the team
  • Assist in updating and maintaining equipment records, location tags, and asset lists
  • Collaborate with technicians and engineers to clarify technical details and resolve gaps in documentation
  • Contribute ideas for improving our documentation processes and data workflows
  • Analyze facility data (drawings, service agreements, spare-parts inventories, etc.) to identify gaps, validate completeness and produce clear, data-driven reports that guide maintenance planning and process improvements.

This role offers flexible hours to accommodate your study schedule and the possibility of a longer-term internship if desired.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Is enrolled in a relevant technical or engineering program (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, etc.), preferably in the first year of your education
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Has excellent communication skills in English and preferably Danish, both written and verbal
  • Is proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio, Power BI) and eager to learn CMMS tools or CAD basics
  • Is self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

What We Offer

This role will give you insight into the design and operation of biopharmaceutical production facilities, as well as how the various departments collaborate to deliver life-changing therapies. On top of that, we offer the following:

  • Meaningful tasks that directly support our maintenance operations and facility improvements
  • Mentoring from experienced technicians and engineers
  • Flexible scheduling to balance work and studies
  • A collaborative, supportive work culture in a leading biopharmaceutical company
