To continue delivering on our promise of quality and innovation while staying ahead in an evolving market, LIEWOOD is searching for a skilled Project Portfolio Manager.
The position is a maternity cover (12 months period).
About the Role
As Project Portfolio Manager, you’ll own LIEWOOD’s strategic project portfolio—driving prioritization, resource planning, and delivery across teams. You’ll work closely with the Executive Team and lead our Business Solutions function, ensuring key initiatives are scoped, executed, and embedded effectively. This is a high-impact role for a structured, energetic leader who thrives on cross-functional collaboration and wants to shape how a fast-growing lifestyle brand runs projects and drives change.
You will work from our beautiful office in Copenhagen, Østerbro and report directly into the COO.
Key Responsibilities
Project Portfolio Ownership
- Own and maintain the company-wide Business Solutions Project Portfolio
- Facilitate strategic project prioritization with executive stakeholders
- Monitor execution, ensuring delivery on scope, timeline, and budget
- Regularly report status, risks, and dependencies to the Executive Team
- Apply advanced project portfolio management methodologies to ensure cross-departmental alignment and transparent decision-making
- Leverage experience in managing resources, timelines, and multiple stakeholders, including C-level, across parallel initiatives
Team & Leadership
- Leads the Business Solutions team, ERP Manager, PLM Manager, IT Project Manager and 2 Student Helpers
- Set direction, define goals, and support development for all team members
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Cross-Functional Project Management
- Scope, lead, and execute complex cross-functional IT and business projects
- Ensure strong stakeholder engagement and alignment throughout all phases
- Develop project budgets, allocate resources, and manage external partners
Process Optimization & Systems Integration
- Translate business needs into scalable system and process solutions
- Maintain high-level understanding of core business processes and transactional systems
- Guide system design and integration across domains (e.g., ERP, PLM, ecommerce)
- Champion change management and training for new tools and workflows
Your Profile
You have:
- A strong analytical mindset with a focus on systems and data
- Exceptional business process understanding and operational thinking
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing change in a dynamic environment
- A structured, proactive, and commercially minded
- Skilled in project and stakeholder management, able to balance multiple initiatives and competing priorities
- Clear communication and strong presenter skills, and you are able to influence at all levels, including executive and board level
- An understanding of deliverables and workflows in the fashion or retail industry, with the ability to manage time-sensitive projects and adapt to fast-moving business needs
You Have:
- 3–5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a lifestyle, design, or retail environment
- A proven experience in project portfolio management, resource planning, and cross-functional execution
- A background in consulting or complex stakeholder environments is a strong plus
- A Track record of delivering process improvement and systems implementation projects
- Solid grasp of business operations and digital tools (ERP, PLM, PIM, ecommerce integrations)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
