Job Description: Join Satair as our Head of Export Control, a pivotal role where you will ensure our export operations comply with international laws and Airbus Group export control programs. You will play a critical part in protecting our business from disruptions, avoiding penalties and ensuring legal security for the company and its employees. This position offers an unique opportunity to shape and lead export compliance on a global scale, directly supporting Satair`s success in international markets. What the job is ... In this role you will be responsible for driving export compliance across Satair’s global operations. As a key partner to both the business and management teams you will ensure that export control measures are fully integrated into daily processes and strategic initiatives, supporting smooth international operations while minimizing legal risks. Your main responsibilities
Develop and implement a robust global export control program, ensuring compliance across all countries where Satair operates
- Inform Airbus Group and Satair leadership relevant export compliance issues and report any non-compliance matters to Satair leadership team, including CEO & COO, and Airbus GRXD
- Provide expert guidance and training to teams, ensuring full adherence to export regulations
- Proactively integrate export control considerations into business decisions to address legal requirements early
- Act as a consultant to management on export control matters and support operational teams in day-to-day compliance
- Oversee internal audits, continuous improvements and regular reporting of key performance indicators (KPI) to Satair´s management and Airbus
- Leading a global export control team of 9 people in Germany, Denmark, Singapore and US
