Description

  • To provide strategic direction and tactical delivery of procurement activities and projects across several Corporate facing category areas, namely Corporate and professional services, IT and Supply Chain.
  • Utilizing previous experience, identify and deliver positively disruptive, agile procurement solutions, resulting in auditable incremental value creation which you will report to the business, through a highly collaborative approach with both local and global stakeholders.
  • To be identified/seen as, the regional procurement specialist across the business, ensuring that credible relationships evolve and develop to roadmap and deliver continuous improvement, innovation and value creation.
  • Define and implement regional sourcing action plans in line with global/regional strategies, through sharing, co⁃creation and continuous improvement to maximize all opportunities for increased value creation in your segment and across the team.
  • Negotiating commercials, and contract terms together with legal affairs, with important vendors, whilst protecting brand reputation and mitigating risk.
  • Proactively managing spend data, PO Compliance, Payment term adoption, and escalating operational issues across the business where identified or optimization opportunities exist.
  • Supporting the regional IP leadership team in ongoing Procurement transformation projects.
  • Representing the Procurement function as an ambassador through best practice.
  • Lead and collaborate from your seat to ensure that the key Procurement and regional business objectives are aligned and deliver according to the pre⁃set goals and live sourcing strategies.
  • Independently develop the procurement business agenda across corporate facing spend activities, in line with the department and regions goals, to ensure that a proactive, collaborative stakeholder buy⁃in develops, and that your personal relationship/credibilityis utilized to enable procurement to lead a positively disruptive, agile and effective business projects.
  • Lead cross Brand/Function Supplier negotiations to ensure best overall cost position for the Organization for assigned commodities. Negotiate, develop and approve contracts, agreements, supplier direction and business awards.
  • Maintain and provide a current understanding of industry best practices and technology trends to team members and business partners.
  • Develop and lead the strategy evolution to mitigate Supplier risks within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Utilize the tools, and processes to optimize sourcing, supplier activities, and efficiencies. Work collaboratively with team members to prioritize and drive implementation.
  • Support sustainability efforts within assigned commodities.

About The Role

As Indirect Procurement Manager, you will cover all Indirect Procurement aspects such as vendor identification & evaluation, RFP process, contract negotiations, contract and vendor management including but not limited to active follow up on timely and high-quality deliveries and maintain specifications of product purchase.

You will be the link between EMEA Indirect Procurement and the brands within the Nordic affiliate, making sure that we follow the Procurement Policy, meeting the KPI’s set from the business and deliver savings and value to the organization.

Your Key Responsibilities

More Specifically, You Will

  • Analyze spend and assess opportunity for additional savings/added value to the business
  • Spend Management through a mix of OPEX and CAPEX
  • Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management on behalf our stakeholders, placed in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland
  • Manage RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), supplier negotiations, contract drafting, and execution in collaboration with legal and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain and secure Procurement Policy and policy adherence
  • Close collaboration with stakeholders, both in Brands, Finance and IP Colleagues in EMEA
  • Secure Saving targets and other Procurement KPIs are met

Your Qualifications

Experience in procuring Indirect goods and services categories such as Marketing procurement, Professional services and Facility Management - industry experience is a plus and you are / have:

  • A strong negotiator
  • Proven track record (> 5 years in a similar function)
  • Analytical and process-oriented thinking
  • Good communication skills across functions and countries
  • Good expertise in MS Office Tools (especially Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook)
  • Familiar with best practice approaches in the area of responsibility
  • Experience with/and usage of SAP Ariba is a plus
