As an IT Supporter Trainee in Satair, you will join a team situated in Copenhagen, Singapore, Beijing, Hamburg, and the US. We provide IT Support to our colleagues in the business on a 24/7 basis, by following the sun. As we are the first step into IT, guiding colleagues and leading them to our experts is also a discipline we practice. The position is located in Kastrup, Denmark, and it is a requirement for candidates to be able to work from the office on all days of the week. What the job is ... Your main responsibility is to support our colleagues in the business when they face IT issues or when they request our services. As IT Support is the first point of contact, the ambition to provide good customer service is a necessity and timely resolution is a must. Besides being involved in various incidents and service requests, you will of course be trained and you will experience first-hand how the IT Supporters in the team, work with the areas below:
- Basic and complex IT troubleshooting and how to, in the best way possible, resolve issues
- How printers are setup physically and in the backend (digitally)
- How we set up warehouse and office workstations
- What DHCP and DNS is and how and when we use it
- What LAN patching is and how and when we do it
- What Active Directory is, and how and when we use it
- What SAP ERP is and how we support it
- What IT Asset Life Cycle Management is and how we practice it
- What Mobile Device Management is and how we use it
- ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) related processes and how we work within those processes
- How to support specific Satair applications
- The importance of communication, follow up and in general how we provide a world class customer service
- And many more exciting areas that will give you the practical experience that you need in your future career as an IT Supporter
- Supporting your colleagues with IT Incidents and Service Requests
- Assist our colleagues in Infrastructure & Operations on tasks where help is needed
- Purchase equipment and ensure asset management is done according to our processes
- Ensure that access administration activities are done with proper attention and care
- Using our knowledge articles to help you with resolving incidents and completing service requests
- Work closely with the different Service Desks within the organization of Airbus
- Currently undergoing education as an IT Supporter
- Takes pride in being reliable and punctual
- An interest in hardware, software, network, and communication tools.
- Fluent in English both written and verbally
- Written skills that demonstrates structure
