People Operations Lead Denmark

About The Role

As the People Operations Lead Denmark, you will join a Nordic team committed to streamlining and ensuring delivery of intuitive and efficient people processes.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and service-minded HR operations across our organization. Together with the other team members, you’ll be the go-to person for HR administration, employee life cycle processes, compliance, and HR system improvements. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality HR support while also identifying opportunities to optimize and standardize the way we work.

This role is for you with solid HR experience, and who understand the complexities of HR processes in a matrix organization and are comfortable working in a structured yet evolving environment with many stakeholders. Although the role doesn’t imply direct personnel responsibility, this role is for you, who enjoy hand-on operational work, and who is used to or would like to try having an extra responsibility vis-à-vis your team members.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day HR operational support throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
  • Ensure correct and timely master data in our HR systems
  • Act as 1-line legal support on HR policies, practices, collective and local agreements to ensure compliance
  • Advice and support in relation to sick leave
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and/or improve HR processes and systems, and ensure a smooth transition from HR projects to effective operation
  • Be a super user in our HR systems, and provide systems operation of HR wheel process
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations with the Danish team (without direct personnel responsibility)

  • Extensive experience in HR operations within a Nordic or international matrix organization
  • A strong understanding of HR processes, systems, and compliance, and experience with HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors or similar)
  • In-depth knowledge of Danish labour and employment law and hands-on practice applying it in day-to-day operations
  • An eye for getting the details right and a highly developed sense of quality
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills and a service minded approach
  • Fluency in English and Danish (other Nordic languages are a plus)
  • Knowledge of payroll is an advantage, though not a prerequisite
