Are you an experienced HR Specialist eager to make a significant impact in a leading Life Science company? Agilent is looking for a dedicated individual to join our HR Nordic team, supporting in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway with HR guidance & business partnership, local HR compliance, employee relations, benefits, and development activities.
About the Role:
As an HR Specialist, you will provide comprehensive HR support to our managers and employees across the Nordic region, where we currently have approximately 800 employees, most of whom are based in Denmark. You will collaborate closely with internal and external collaborators in an international environment, offering consultative services and partnership on HR legal matters and employee relations.
In addition to compliance and benefits, you will play a crucial role in our local development activities for the Nordic countries, in alignment with our global Agilent offerings. You will be responsible for maintaining, designing, and implementing programs that cultivate professional growth and leadership within our organization, collaborating with local leaders and Agilent’s Global Talent organization as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:
HR Compliance, Business Partnership and Employee Relations:
- Address employee queries
- Provide general manager support
- Support Managers to build high performing teams, including developing and implementing performance improvement plans
- Ensure compliance with evolving HR legislation
- Enhance, maintain, and implement pension plans and insurance programs
- Oversee other employee benefits
- Lead and participate in local benefit projects
- Support Global benefit projects
- Manage and develop local mentor programs and career development workshops
- Lead local leadership networks and training sessions
- Support global talent development initiatives in the Nordic countries
- 3-5 years of HR Specialist experience in an international company
- Excellent interpersonal communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and partner with stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of employment law in Denmark or Sweden
- Experience in developing and executing local development initiatives
- Proficiency in Workday or a similar HCM system
- Master’s degree in human resources or equivalent
- Proficiency in English and Danish or Swedish (understanding Danish)
