The Job
We’re looking for a skilled Automation Engineer who can take technical ownership of automation projects from concept to commissioning. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for design, testing, start-up, and delivery of advanced automation systems for a variety of industrial and marine applications.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that solutions are functional, safe, and built to last. This is a chance to work across disciplines and be part of a team that values initiative, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities
Engineering & Execution
- Participate in technical reviews and design of automation solutions
- Perform functional tests and prepare documentation
- Internal and on-site commissioning activities
- Coordinate projects and support troubleshooting efforts
- Work with customers, sales, software developers, field technicians, and external partners
- Ensure smooth communication across project phases
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and performance
Education & Experience
- Degree in automation, electrical engineering, or similar
- 2–5 years of experience preferred – but we welcome motivated graduates
- Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems, frequency converters, and automation components
- Hands-on experience with control panel assembly is an advantage
- Solid technical judgement and structured working style
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Willingness to combine office-based work with some travel
