Team Lead - Accounts Payable and Senior Accounts

We’re searching for a Team lead - Accounts Payable & Senior Accounts team to join to join our finance team based in Valby, Copenhagen!
The Role
Along with the Head of Finance, leading the Accounts Payable ("AP") & Senior Accountant ("Sr. Acc.") teams and to ensure both deadlines are met and deliverables are of a high quality. It is important that the individual understands and is able to participate in the daily work within both teams. The individual should also have a willingness and a strong desire to keep developing on the good work environment & work well, both with the team, but also the rest of business.
Additional Responsibilities within this role include:
Responsibilities include:
- Line manager to AP and Sr. Accountants.
- Overall responsibility for daily flow in AP. (invoices, payments, ServiceNow).
- Ensuring the AP team are producing and sharing high data quality.
- Ensuring the Sr. Acc. team provide support and guidance to AP team & also meeting deadlines with the authorities.
- Assist with year-end audit - ensure that deadlines are met and information provided is of a good quality.
- Involvement in other ad hoc areas as requested
- Other reasonable duties or attendance at meetings as requested
- Continued development of controls and other efficiencies.
The Person
- Proven experience delivering monthly reporting.
- Passionate about PureGym and understands how accounting function can best serve wider business needs (Both from a AP and Sr. Acc. perspective)
- A high achiever who is looking to be part of an energetic, fast-paced business.
- Someone who is happy to be hands on and work together as a team, motivating and leading a team to meet key deadlines such as month end accounts.
- Strong financial accountant.
- Challenges status quo, always seeking ways to improve processes to increase efficiency and add value.
- Strong attention to detail, and proven ability to work to deadlines through effective time management
- Good understanding of ERP systems (and experience of working with Navision would be helpful, but not a necessity)
