Your Mission & Responsibilities Ahead Of You
As our Head of Legal, you will play a central role in safeguarding GANNI’s global operations and enabling its continued growth. You will be the strategic legal partner across the business and take full ownership of our legal function - ensuring we operate with integrity, compliance, and commercial focus across all markets.

Your Mission & Responsibilities Ahead Of You
As our Head of Legal, you will play a central role in safeguarding GANNI’s global operations and enabling its continued growth. You will be the strategic legal partner across the business and take full ownership of our legal function - ensuring we operate with integrity, compliance, and commercial focus across all markets.
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead the legal department, including team management, budgeting, and organizational development.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CFO, executive team, and board on all legal, regulatory, and governance matters.
- Ensure GANNI’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to data protection, competition, marketing, consumer protection, and ESG-related legislation (e.g., green claims, extended producer responsibility).
- Develop and oversee internal compliance programs and policies to proactively manage legal risk.
- Manage corporate legal matters, including board governance, entity management, regulatory filings, and internal policy development across all jurisdictions where GANNI operates.
- Support business growth and international expansion by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements (e.g., leases, distribution, franchise, agency, and licensing).
- Provide legal support for cross-border transactions, joint ventures, and new market entry.
- Oversee relationships with external law firms globally, ensuring efficient and effective legal support.
- Manage legal disputes, claims, and litigation, balancing business needs with risk mitigation.
- Lead the development and execution of GANNI’s IP strategy, including trademark and design registrations, enforcement, and licensing.
- Oversee global insurance programs, including policy renewals, claims processes, and the integration of new assets and operations into coverage.
Must Have Requirements
- Master’s degree in Law (LL.M or equivalent) and admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
- Extensive experience in international corporate and commercial law, ideally from an in-house legal leadership position.
- Proven track record of managing legal teams and external legal counsel.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to the fashion or retail industry.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and international environment.
