This role presents a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in optimizing our pricing strategies and maximizing profitability within this dynamic region.
Joining our dedicated Finance team of six, you will take ownership of pricing implementation, customer agreement coordination, and reporting and analysis.
This role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact GROHE's success and contribute to our continued growth.
Please note that we would like this person to be onsite 4 days per week.
Your key responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy & Implementation:
- Champion adherence to pricing policies and train regional stakeholders
- Develop and maintain pricing tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
- Evaluate and approve special pricing requests and discount exceptions
- Lead annual price changes, including price list preparation and customer communication
- Manage product pricing within assigned markets in internal systems
Market Analysis & Insights:
- Monitor pricing performance, sales, and margin trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Leverage internal and external data to provide actionable market insights
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with the Sales department on sales & margin budgeting and forecasting
- Deliver insightful financial reports and analysis to senior management
- Provide pricing expertise and support for new product launches and business cases
- Actively participate in commercial meetings and workshops
Management of Customer Commercial Terms:
- Coordinate and review customer contracts
- Validate pricing support credit notes for customers
- Calculation and settlement customer bonus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Controller, Pricing Controller or in a similar role with a strong emphasis on pricing execution, sales performance and business partnering
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP/Business Warehouse. Strong skills in other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint). Proven ability to leverage these tools for data analysis, reporting, and presentations
- Experience with other data analysis and business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Google Sheets, AppSheet) is a plus
- Business proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required, knowledge of local language(s) is preferred
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus, even without direct managerial authority
- Strong commercial mindset, structured work style, results-oriented approach, and proactive collaboration skills
