Student Assistant for Business Finance

Joining Business Finance
Business Finance provides comprehensive financial planning, analysis, and reporting services, alongside expert financial advice and support to Ramboll’s markets. You will join the Business Finance team dedicated to supporting the Energy market. The team consists of 12 employees located across five countries. Your workplace will be at our head office in Copenhagen.
The Position
You will report to the Head of Finance Business Partnering Energy and your key responsibilities will be to assist with relevant Business Finance tasks. These include but are not limited to:
Your Qualifications
Preferably, you are studying a Bachelor’s degree on your 2nd or 3rd year or just about to start your Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a similar field.

The Position
You will report to the Head of Finance Business Partnering Energy and your key responsibilities will be to assist with relevant Business Finance tasks. These include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports
- Participate and assist in month-end closing activities
- Support Finance Business Partners with day-to-day operations and administrative tasks
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Help with the preparation of financial presentations
- Collaborate with project controllers and department managers to ensure correct financial records
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed
- Learn and apply industry best practices under the mentorship of experienced professionals
Your Qualifications
Preferably, you are studying a Bachelor’s degree on your 2nd or 3rd year or just about to start your Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a similar field.
Furthermore, we expect you to have the following qualifications:
- Structured and collaborative mindset
- Demonstrate drive and keen attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Tech-savvy with a flair for IT - experience with BI tools is an advantage
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive, and not afraid to embrace opportunities when given the chance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
