In this role, you’ll lead and develop our sales development team to consistently generate high-quality opportunities. You’ll be responsible for building strong processes, driving performance, and instilling a culture of ownership and accountability. Your leadership will ensure alignment with company goals while keeping energy and motivation high across the team.

Your key responsibilities:
- Executive Sales Strategy: Implement the sales development components of the overall strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals, target markets, and customer segments.
- Drive Opportunity Creation: Lead “canvas days” and proactively identify and address challenges in meeting opportunity and handover targets in collaboration with the Sales VP.
- Enforce Process Excellence: Own and maintain sales processes that support efficiency and consistent performance. Run weekly forecasts and ensure full team adherence to workflows and tools.
- Lead & Develop the Team: Inspire, coach, and manage the Sales Development team to hit individual and team goals. Design and deliver onboarding and training programs for new hires and internal promotions.
- Foster a High-Energy Culture: Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and motivational environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and leadership development.
- Monitor Performance & Optimize: Set clear KPIs, analyze performance data to identify improvement areas, and adjust tactics as needed. Leverage CRM, analytics, and AI tools to optimize forecasts, training, and execution.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Product, and Customer Success teams to align messaging and strategy. Share feedback to help shape product and campaign development.
- Engage with Clients Strategically: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, take a targeted approach to outreach, and contribute to securing high-value opportunities through strategic involvement.
- 2–3+ years of SDR experience with a proven track record, plus 1+ year leading an SDR team.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills that build confidence and drive performance in junior sales talent.
- Solid grasp of outbound sales tactics and data-driven team management.
- Proficient in HubSpot CRM and familiar with tools like Gmail, Slack, and TL;DV.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and 1:1 mentoring abilities.
- Proactive and pragmatic mindset, comfortable adapting in a fast-paced, evolving scale-up environment.
