Do you want to shape the future of global infrastructure while working with cutting-edge Kubernetes technologies? Are you passionate about maintaining resilient, secure platforms that support critical customer-facing services? Do you thrive in a role where autonomy, ownership, and technical excellence go hand in hand?

Here Is What The Job Entails

As our new Platform Operations Engineer, your main responsibility will be to ensure the seamless operation of our applications and services running on Kubernetes. From supporting release pipelines to fine-tuning observability and access control, you will play a key role in keeping our platform resilient and secure. You will also assist developers and support teams with incident response and troubleshooting.

More specifically, you will be:

  • Operating Helm charts, Flux, and Velero backups
  • Managing role-based access control, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
  • Utilizing DevOps tools such as Prometheus, Dynatrace, GitHub Enterprise, and other CNCF-related tools
  • Analyzing logs, event data, and working with data streaming tools like OpenSearch, Kafka, and RedPanda

In this role, you will have the freedom to shape your work and influence the future of our global hosting platforms. You will enjoy a high degree of independence and ownership while collaborating daily with sharp and dedicated colleagues. As part of a strong professional community with a culture of open sparring, you will find ample opportunities to grow—both technically and personally—as you help us build and scale reliable, modern infrastructure.

Meet your future team

With direct reference to our Head of Hosting HCW, you will join our third-level operations team consisting of nine highly skilled colleagues based in Denmark, the US, and Spain. Together, we are responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing operation of customer-facing solutions. The team values an open culture with a strong focus on sparring and knowledge sharing across borders. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality results, but we also believe in having fun along the way.

Did you know? We like staying connected and sharing our hobbies across borders. On our team chat, our Spanish colleagues share tapas recipes, the US team drops memes, and Denmark keeps us updated on cycling stats. It is our way of keeping things personal, even when solving complex infrastructure puzzles together.

Less About Us, More About You

We are looking for a Platform Operations Engineer who can help take our operations to the next level. You bring a methodical mindset, a strong drive to contribute, and a passion for knowledge sharing. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders makes you a key link between operations and the broader organization.

In order to succeed, we imagine that you:

  • Have strong experience with Kubernetes and Azure platform operations
  • Are familiar with DevOps principles and tooling
  • Have hands-on experience with alerting, logging, and secret management
  • Possess a solid understanding of ITIL practices and operational documentation

As we are an international organization it is important that you are fluent in English and Danish.

We want to support a diverse and inclusive workplace, so while you may not meet all the qualifications listed above, you could still be a good candidate for the position. If you find the role intriguing, do not hesitate to apply.

We are more than an ordinary workplace

We cherish the good colleagueship which we all contribute to, the only limit is your engagement. As we are a big organization you are bound to find one or more colleagues who share the same interest as you. This might be in our board game club, on our cycling team, during our yearly summer festival, or on the padel court. For example, our Team lead, Service Delivery is also our volunteer padel instructor while one of our Software Test Engineers run weekly spinning classes.

Besides the best colleagues you could imagine, we also offer:

  • Work life balance through flexible working hours
  • Employee benefits including a healthy canteen, fitness facilities, in-house dental clinic, hairdresser, and a free health clinic
  • An active employee association that fosters a collaborative and supportive workplace community
