You will be joining teams of trained cooks, with unique areas of expertise and experience. While we all have our own focus and expertise, we operate as one. We want to offer a unique and individualised experience to our guests every time, and you will be a part of that focus. While you are learning how we operate, you will be supported by your managers and your colleagues from the HQ-team.
This Is What You Will Be Doing
You will often find yourself working in collaboration with your manager and colleagues in the kitchen. We are never short on things to do, yet we always find a way to have fun while doing it. Your responsibilities could include:

Because we are a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, we are looking for someone who has at least 1 year of experience as a cook. We are looking for out-going and personable people who are willing to engage with customers, as we have open kitchens. We anticipate that you have the following skills and experience:

About Mikkeller
Mikkeller is first and foremost about beer: a world of hops, malts, barrel aging, spontaneous fermentation, licorice, coffee, passion fruit, cherries, chili, cocoa etc.
Mikkeller has locations worldwide including breweries, bars, restaurants and a sports club with 250 chapters around the globe where running and cycling are the main activities. Mikkeller engages in many fun projects and collaborations with talented, innovative people from the worlds of gastronomy and culture.
Since opening the first bar in Copenhagen in 2010, Mikkeller has grown to include more than 28 different locations around the world, and exports micro-brewed beers to more than 50 countries. - Quality Control and Sanitation Procedures
- Event/Festival Preparation and Involvement
Skills
Because we are a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, we are looking for someone who has at least 1 year of experience as a cook. We are looking for out-going and personable people who are willing to engage with customers, as we have open kitchens. We anticipate that you have the following skills and experience:
- At least 2 years of previous experience working in a professional kitchen, preferably in a high-volume restaurant, where you practised food safety and best practices
- Understanding of cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment, utilising strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Valid work permit for Denmark is required
