To contribute with shaping and documenting future solutions within the construction field, we are looking for an Experienced Specialist and Discipline Lead to join our team in COWI. Our team comprises approximately 30 team members working alongside our customers on interesting and complex projects within energy, indoor climate and daylight. And we are thrilled to have contributed to a number of complex projects within the building, industry and pharma sectors as well as transformation of existing buildings.
In this position, you will become part of an established professional and highly social environment across COWI and Arkitema, where we deliver energy calculations, indoor climate simulations, combined with services within Sustainability management. COWI has a diverse range of experts, within both new buildings and transformation of existing buildings, who will become your close colleagues. Our interdisciplinary collaboration is our strength and makes it possible for us to raise the bar for sustainability in the industry.
Your key activities will be:
- Managing the energy and indoor climate discipline on projects, including coordinating the discipline's collaboration with design engineers and architects
- Guiding colleagues on projects and contribute to the development of younger colleagues
- Having the opportunity to initiate and lead professional development in the field
- Conducting advanced analyses on energy, indoor climate and daylight, using tools such as IES VE, Rhino/Grasshopper etc.

On top of that, you will have:
- 5+ years of experience with indoor climate simulations and calculations, as well as energy optimization in construction, operation and/or industry
- Experience driving your own assignments
- Experience working with projects in Denmark and Danish building legislation
- Professional proficiency in one of the Scandinavian languages is a big advantage
- An open approach to younger colleagues, functioning as a supportive sparring partner
- A trustworthy and collaboration-oriented attitude towards project teams, colleagues, as well as business partners and customers
- High integrity and a willingness to share your experiences,
