Nature Energy is Denmark's largest producer of biogas and currently supplies more than 25 per cent of the biogas to the Danish gas grid. Both the number of plants, the amount of biogas and turnover are constantly and rapidly growing, so you will be part of an energetic organization with competent colleagues throughout the country.
Your will be based in our Aarhus or Odense office.
The role
You will have a central role in the development of the operations organization, anchored in the Operational & Technical Support department. You will have an important task in the operation and continued development of maintenance programs, as well as development and optimization of production locally and across the biogas plants. You will report directly into the Director Asset Management Technical Support
Your detailed responsibilities will include:
- Identify opportunities for improvements, including optimization of biogas plants, so that cost-reducing and capacity-increasing measures are taken
- Drive and develop maintenance programs based on risk assessment of facilities and components according to company procedures and maintenance strategy, and legal requirements
- Drive multidisciplinary maintenance and improvement projects from concept to final implementation in collaboration with both the local operations organizations across Europe and our internal Engineering department based in Denmark
- Ensure knowledge sharing between Asset Management Technical Support and the project teams in connection with the design of new biogas plants and major refurbishments
- Develop necessary systems and processes related to workflows and document management, and other activities as appropriate.
- Follow-up and support for operations in complying with regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the development of the safety and performance culture in the organization
Collaboration across the organization
Together with your colleagues in Asset Management Technical Support, you will help develop and operate the entire biogas organization’s maintenance program as well as support, technical problem-solving and optimization at the individual biogas plants.
Requirements:
You have a relevant technical background as a mechanical engineer marine engineer or similar and experience with operation and maintenance of process plants, including experience with maintenance systems and know the underlying routines and processes.
Additionally, you will bring:
- Experience with RCM principles towards maintenance planning is a win, but not mandatory
- Experience with technical project management and work in a goal-oriented and structured way to meet agreed schedules
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, where you share knowledge and create results through collaboration
- You thrive on challenges and are passionate about solving technical problems.

- Willingness to work on projects and with colleagues across Europe and potentially in other Global markets.
- Fluency in English and Danish
- Flexibility to occasionally travel to our sites in Denmark
