Join us in this role where you’ll be our new project manager for contingency projects in Generation and where you will project manage and act as the one point of contact for regional and central stakeholders in relation to large cross-portfolio projects.

Welcome to Main Component Supply & Major Incidents Contingency

You’ll be part of Major Incident Contingency where you, together with your colleagues, will develop appropriate contingency plan setups to raise the regional preparedness in dealing with major incidents impacting our wind farms and subsea cables. You’ll be the contingency focal point for the regions and towards our suppliers via cross-portfolio vessel and critical spare parts framework agreements and should therefore be energized and skilled in juggling many internal and external stakeholders.

As a team, we we value trust, openness, a healthy work environment and an informal tone. Our team members are empowered and encouraged to make decisions on the projects they are responsible for.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Identifying the main priorities in our contingency planning based on an overall Generation portfolio risk picture
  • Establishing the overall governance and plan for managing and progressing with the contingency projects and specific plans
  • Setting up regional cable contingency projects (CCP) and defining appropriate support level/demand from the regions as cables, have already been identified as being a major risk
  • Joining project teams responding to cable failures and other emergency projects in order to capture lessons learned for the benefit of the portfolio
  • Developing and maintaining portfolio contingency processes, policies, framework agreements and templates.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have a strong technical background (engineering qualification or similar) and a good commercial understanding
  • Preferably have 5 years of operational experience in working with offshore cables and/or other relevant offshore electrical engineering experience
  • Have solid project management experience
  • Have excellent stakeholder management skills and can effortlessly juggle multiple (and different) regional stakeholder setups as well as effectively communicate to senior management and specialists alike
  • Ideally have previous experience with risk or contingency management.

Additional info: You should expect some travelling in relation to your work.
