In today's market, power grids are a fascinating and pivotal topic, and we are seeking a skilled Product Application Engineer to join our dynamic Nordic team. Your expertise in protection relays, RTUs, and power automation will be essential in shaping innovative solutions that align with our business objectives and technology strategy.
What You’ll Do:In this role, you will apply your overall understanding of digitalization and electrical distribution along with specific product and application knowledge within the medium voltage range. Your collaborative approach will enable you to work with various business units and cross-functional teams to guide our customers in a complex journey towards energy-efficient, sustainable, digital, intelligent, and future-proof electrical distribution.
As a key member of our team, you will provide support to our sales teams, partners, and customers for MV products and applications. Additionally, we expect you to provide technical support to the field sales force by bringing deep, specific Digital Power MV product and application knowledge to help understand customer design, configure and integrate Schneider Electric products into customer specifications, convert existing specifications, and close deals.
The focus of work will be transactional sales within relevant channels and partners of Schneider Electric, such as panel builders, utilities, system integrators, and consultants.
What We’re Looking For:- Master's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Danish is essential, along with fluency in English. Knowledge of other Nordic languages (Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish) is a plus.
- Experience in customer and partner interaction with a focus on delivering competitive solutions that meet end user/partner expectations.
- Proven experience as a Product Application Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong track record of successful projects related to protection relays.
- Deep knowledge in application design, integration, and architecture principles, particularly in power automation.
- Strong understanding of SCADA systems is a bonus.
