About The Job
As part of Saxo's financial crime prevention team, you will contribute to our global efforts to combat financial crime. Your responsibilities include assessing risks and implementing controls to ensure compliance with regulations in all countries where Saxo operates. The AML program, part of the 1st Line of Defense, is based at Saxo’s headquarters in Hellerup. Our team consists of dedicated employees with diverse backgrounds and experiences, and we are looking for new colleagues to join us.
We are seeking a Workgroup Owner to coordinate and manage activities within a specific workgroup. This role ensures tasks align with global priorities, facilitates collaboration among members, contributors, and stakeholders, and acts as the primary contact. The Workgroup Owner reports status and outcomes to the Journey Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate for this position has in-depth knowledge and experience in the Financial Crime Prevention area, which is crucial for excelling in the role and prioritizing strategic direction. Thriving in an ever-changing environment while maintaining attention to detail is essential. Experience in the financial sector, specifically within financial crime prevention, is required.
Driving Financial Crime Prevention projects across global organizations, ensuring that all team members are motivated and engaged, is a key responsibility. Excellent stakeholder management skills are necessary to ensure good collaboration and progress. A relevant educational background and/or experience with AML operations and processes is important. Additionally, presenting and reporting to senior management is part of the role. Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are essential, and proficiency in English at a professional level is expected

- Coordinate the workgroup’s activities to ensure alignment with priorities across workgroups
- Facilitate collaboration and communication among workgroup members and contributors
- Organize and manage workgroup meetings and documentation
- Identify and coordinate resources needed for the workgroup’s activities with the journey delivery lead and global journey owner
- Serve as the main liaison between the workgroup and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure stakeholders’ needs and expectations are understood and addressed
- Maintain effective communication within the workgroup and with external stakeholders
- Provide monthly updates on progress and outcomes to the Journey Leadership Team and the organization
- Address any communication issues or barriers promptly
