The Role


As a Service Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in servicing and commissioning autopilot steering control and dynamic positioning (DP) systems on board vessels.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Troubleshoot issues on board ships and other marine installations.
  • Commission newly delivered systems in collaboration with project engineers.
  • Travel internationally to provide on-site service and support.
  • Offer technical feedback to help improve our engineering processes and products.
  • Provide in-house technical support to customers and internal departments.
  • Work independently after training, with remote support available from the office.
  • Support technical consulting for sales and project teams.


About You


Your qualifications:


  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Electronics.
  • Open to both beginners and experienced candidates.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel abroad regularly.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).


Personal Profile:


  • Independent technician with solid electrical/automation engineering knowledge.
  • Solution-oriented, flexible, and able to improvise when needed.
  • Strong communicator, able to engage effectively with shipboard crew and management alike.
  • Skilled in using electrical CAD software and PLC programming tools.
  • Accurate in creating service and technical reports.
  • Familiarity with marine ship systems is a strong plus.
