Job Summary

Are you a marine engineer with strong technical and managerial skills? Do you want to work with management, building maintenance, and technical installations? Then you are the one we are looking for!

FS&RE (Facility Service & Real Estate) is an internal service department in IFF, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities, including buildings and technical installations. We meet legal standards and requirements and cater to the wishes of various stakeholders. Our approach is characterized by professionalism, teamwork, and a deep understanding of operation and maintenance.

As the Head of Facility Technical team, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 7 facility technicians.

Tasks

• Daily coordination of the technical team.
• Ensure that all systems function optimally, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and other technical installations.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders such as advisors and craftsmen, ensuring effective communication and cooperation to achieve successful outcomes.
• Plan and carry out functional tests, document the commissioning process, and ensure that technical standards are met.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure smooth operations.
• Act as an advisory sparring partner to ensure solutions that create real value for the departments we serve.
  
  

Requirements

• Trained marine engineer, preferably with experience in Facility Management.
• Strong competencies in stakeholder management with the ability to communicate effectively and inform the right people.
• Strong technical understanding across disciplines, including HVAC, electrical, and technical installations.
• Good management skills and experience in driving projects and processes forward.
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to spot and solve technical challenges early in the process.
• A strong partner who thrives in dialogue with various stakeholders.
