At Danfoss Hydronics, we are looking for a committed and skilled Quality Engineer to join our Operational Quality Team in Silkeborg. In this role, you’ll serve as the voice of the customer—ensuring that both internally produced components and products, as well as our processes, meet the highest standards of quality.
You will report to the Factory QEHS Manager and work closely with stakeholders across Sales, RD&E, and Production Technology.
Job Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer, your primary focus will be on internal quality, where you’ll act as quality support for our component and assembly production areas.
You’ll play a central role in building a strong quality foundation and, together with the production team, ensure high-quality performance across internal production processes.
You will also contribute to the continuous development and improvement of our internal processes, using tools such as risk management, process validation, and verification.
Your Tasks Will Include
To succeed in this role, you should hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, preferably within mechanical or production engineering. You are skilled in applying quality tools such as PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC—and capable of using these tools to drive improvements across the value chain. Experience with SAP is beneficial.
Personal competencies
You are a proactive, structured, and collaborative individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You possess strong communication skills and can work effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders, where you can influence and coach others on quality practices.
You have a holistic understanding of the entire value chain—from supplier to customer—and are fluent in both Danish and English. You are able to maintain an overview and take responsibility under pressure, all while working toward ensuring high quality across all processes.
