The Position
As a Production Planner, your primary responsibilities will be to manage the daily planning for production for Fermentation and Recovery and ensure transparent and reliable communication of the production plan. Furthermore, you will be partly responsible for developing and driving the strategy within the planner team.

About The Department
Our department (Business Support) consists of 50 specialized employees, collaborating closely across teams and Associate Managers within planning, training, logistics, warehouse, purchasing, finance, and our Lean coordinator. Combined, we are API M1 Business Support. Overall, we support 6 departments.
You will be a part of the Planner Team in Business Support. We are currently 9 dedicated employees responsible for the Planning processes across the factory. The team is flexible, helpful, and supportive of each other's competencies. We cover a variety of backgrounds and experiences that make us a strong team. You must have a positive and outgoing personality and be honest and open when you face challenges or struggles at work. The planner team is small, so it's even more important that you are open and honest and don’t fear a cheerful environment where we combine laughter and business.

The Position
As a Production Planner, your primary responsibilities will be to manage the daily planning for production for Fermentation and Recovery and ensure transparent and reliable communication of the production plan. Furthermore, you will be partly responsible for developing and driving the strategy within the planner team.
The main tasks will be:
- Daily planning for production and scheduling ad hoc tasks and other major tasks across the facility.
- Ensuring that our planning system is set up correctly.
- Participating in, developing, and optimizing the strategy for our planning process, along with the governance around it.
- Continually optimizing a robust system that helps us make the right decisions if the plan changes in the short term.
- Being a strong communicator to help production understand and follow the plans.
To succeed in this role, you might have:
- An academic education within Biology, Pharma, Natural Sciences, Production Planning etc or robust experience within the planning field.
- Strategic and LEAN mindset and good analytical skills.
- Curiosity about processes and strategy and the ability to optimize and drive them.
- Proficiency in both English and Danish.
