Are you our new Senior Power Systems Engineer?
To enable faster grid connections and even more resilient energy systems based on renewable energy, we are looking for a Senior Power Systems Engineer to join our team. We are a team of 30 working alongside our global customers on some of the most significant and prestigious projects within connection of renewable energy to the grid. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects like offshore wind farm Vineyard Wind and nearshore wind farm Aflandshage and PtX facility Megaton
Your key activities will be:
- Automation of studies especially regarding compliance testing
- Modelling for steady state analysis such as load flow and short circuits
- Dynamic time domain simulations (RMS) involving both generic type models as well as manufacturer specific models
- Transient time domain simulations (EMT) in relation to e.g. energization, switching and faults, control stability and general insulation coordination
- Reactive power capability analysis incl. strategy and controllers for regulation of voltage and reactive power
- Power Quality and Harmonic analysis
- Grid code compliance assessment, incl. ION and FON

This is a technical leadership role which involves developing ties with others. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.
We would be thrilled to hear from candidates who resembles the following:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Preferably holds a M.Sc. within Electrical Engineering
- Strong experience in DIgSILENT PowerFactory and PSCAD as being our primary tools
- Python scripting for automation is an advantage but not mandatory
- Experience in PSS/E and HVDC-VSC is further an advantage
- Grid code compliance experience in Europe, Asia and the US is an advantage but not mandatory
