We are seeking a skilled Systems Integration Engineer to join our team in the Development Centre Video Systems department in Ballerup. The team you will be a part of:
The Systems Integration team is a part of the Development Centre Video Systems (DC Video Systems). DC Video Systems creates advanced video communication systems that encompass audio and video capabilities, including software-enabled user interfaces. Some of the recently launched products include the Jabra P40 VBS, P50 video bar, P50 VBS video bar, and Jabra SPEAK2 55 75.
The Systems Integration Engineer will ensure seamless interactions among our Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and epics within the SAFe framework. As part of this team, you will coordinate cross-functional technical deliverables through integration points and develop an integration plan that tracks progress during the development phase. This role involves close collaboration with many teams across the organization, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure the final product meets established requirements and can be validated through systems verification by assisting in the creation of verification plans.
Hardware or Software skills?
The Systems Integration Engineer can have a background in either embedded/Android software or hardware engineering or even a combination of both. The role of a Systems Integration Engineer often involves integrating both hardware and software components to ensure they work together seamlessly. Therefore, individuals with specialization in hardware engineering, software engineering, or systems engineering can all be well-suited for this role.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
- Create dependency maps.
- Support the early prototype setups to validate certain architectural decisions or to explore new directions in collaboration with product architects.
- Facilitate the generation of discipline requirements to ensure clarity and traceability towards the system/product requirements.
- Give input to the verification tests to guarantee full test coverage of system and product specifications.
- Create integration points, integration plans and if needed integration camps.
- Participating in design reviews and providing input on integration considerations.
- Review testing and validation of subsystems to verify compatibility and functionality.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders to clarify and validate requirements, and to address conflicts or inconsistencies.
- Supporting manufacturing and production teams in implementing integrated systems.
- Track bugs (maturity) in the final stages and generate reports.
- When needed, be the single point of contact for underlying integration activities.

- Display technical proficiency in any of the following domains: real-time hardware, embedded software, audio, video, or relevant interfaces.
- Hold a B.Sc. degree or higher in engineering or a related technical field.
You will receive extra points if you:
- Have a thorough knowledge of video conferencing technologies.
- Possess experience working in the SAFe framework.
- know about artificial intelligence in products.
