About the role | Business Advisor

As our new Business Advisor, you will be an integral part of the Executive Office team, working closely with Tryg’s Executive Board. Our team ensures that the Executive Board has the optimal foundation for making informed decisions and setting the strategic direction for Tryg.

In this role, you will support the preparation of decision materials and presentations for the Executive Board, drive independent analysis and workstreams on strategic projects under the guidance of senior colleagues, and coordinate and plan events for top management. You will also contribute to strategic analysis and manage advisory tasks, including conducting data analysis, interviews, and gathering insights to inform decision-making.

A key responsibility will be supporting investor relations with Tryg’s largest owner, TryghedsGruppen, which holds 48% of Tryg. This involves maintaining a trusted relationship with TryghedsGruppen, setting the agenda for meetings, and ensuring alignment between both parties.

  • Key responsibilities which include:
    • Support senior colleagues in preparing decision materials and presentations for the Executive Board and Board of Directors.
    • Drive independent workstreams on strategic projects, assist with ad-hoc analysis, and track progress.
    • Coordinate and plan events for top management.
    • Contribute to strategic analysis, business development, data analysis, and gathering insights.
    • Assist with investor relations for Tryg’s largest shareholder, TryghedsGruppen, including preparing meeting content and ensuring alignment.
About you | A team player

You are ambitious, motivated, and eager to learn. With a strong academic background in economics, business, political science, engineering, IT, or a similar field, you are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

You may be straight out of university or have a few years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, management support, or a similar field. While you might not have direct experience working with top management, you’re eager to take on responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish, along with professional-level English, is required.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. Though early in your career, you bring fresh ideas and a collaborative spirit. Dependable and detail-oriented, you thrive both independently and within a team, actively learning and contributing to the company’s growth.

About us | Executive Office

Tryg Forsikring is Scandinavia's leading non-life insurance company, operating in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, serving over 6 million customers across both private and commercial segments.

Our Executive Office team consists of approximately 10 colleagues with backgrounds from Tier-1 consulting firms and C25 companies and acts as a trusted advisor to the Executive Board in leading Tryg. We work in a structured manner to ensure alignment between decisions made by Tryg’s Executive Board and Board of Directors and their implementation in the business.

The Executive Office is part of SIME (Group Strategy, Innovation & Prevention, Executive Office, and M&A), which is the beating heart of strategy and business advisory at Tryg, with a team of approximately 50 colleagues. We are responsible for driving high-priority decisions with group-wide impact, ensuring that Tryg remains at the forefront of the industry.
