As a Tactical Sales Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening our partnerships with major steel contractors within the offshore wind industry, transforming our position from a subcontractor to a preferred supplier. By leveraging our expertise and product portfolio, you will expand our service offering and drive revenue growth. Working alongside our strategic sales team, you will help enhance market penetration and maximize business opportunities. 

 

As part of our Global Sales team, you will be based in Denmark (Vejle or Copenhagen) and have the option of a hybrid work arrangement. Your travel will be primarily within Europe, with some international trips beyond the region. 


This is what you’ll do: 

 

  • Strengthen existing relationships and establish new partnerships with steel yards across Europe to enhance business opportunities. 
  • Coordinate between tactical and strategic sales to identify cross-selling opportunities.  
  • Develop and negotiate framework agreements with major customers to enhance collaboration and secure long-term business commitments. 
  • Develop from a commercial and technical standpoint, a standard product offering for the steel yards.
  • Proactively explore and advance new product opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with operations, product management, marketing, engineering and project management to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience in the tactical channel. 
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying challenges and opportunities, and present actionable insights to senior leadership. 
  • Establish Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to monitor the success of the tactical sales channel, ensuring alignment with broader company goals. 


What you bring with you:

 

  • Mechanical engineering degree or similar, or equivalent experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of materials science.
  • A thorough understanding of the components of an offshore wind farm, how they fit together and the demands placed on them in the offshore environment.
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft 365, CRM & ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively presenting ideas, products, and solutions to customers both face-to-face and through video calls.
  • Fluent in English & Danish.
