Student Assistant 

Project portfolio coordinator 

Become part of a motivated and proactive team comprising of students that supports Hempel’s digital organization on project coordination and portfolio management. 

 The position is based in our headquarters in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark.

We expect you to work 10-15 hours a week.

As a student assistant, work is focused on ensuring that the digital projects have the needed resources planned and assigned.  

Your key task will primarily be project coordination which will: 

• Ensure needed resources to perform projects are identified and requested.
• Ensure needed resources are allocated to projects.
• Engage with colleagues to secure good quality on project meta data 
• Monitor, maintain and update records on relevant Systems/tools that will allow efficient and effective tracking of projects’ status and issues 
• Monitor and report time registrations on projects compared with allocations to resource- and project managers.
• Prepare material for management meetings.
• Participate in management meetings presenting status updates.

To be qualified for the role, you must be a university student (bachelors preferred) that possesses excellent project coordination skills. You will also have flair for IT and an interest in learning new tools.

Furthermore, you are: 

• Structured, and have high-organizational skills 
• Strong with your time-management capabilities 
• Capable to sift through data and possess analytical and detail-oriented mind-set Able to adapt within a multi-cultural environment 
• Good with your communication skills, written and oral and thrive presenting to larger groups of people
