Onboarding Supervisor

Based in Malta

Purpose of the position:

Onboarding Supervisor plays a key role in leading Cabin Crew onboarding in Wizz Air Malta Organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the local and outsourced onboarding team and Cabin Operations Senior Manager Crew Resources and Planning
  • Supervise the local and outsourced Cabin Crew onboarding team
  • Owner of onboarding processes from training activation until candidate employment
  • Monitor and support stakeholder needs (for undisturbed onboarding flow)
  • Manage the cross-departmental collaboration
  • Review issues and propose solutions to cross-functional departments
  • Making sure that all necessary deadlines are met to ensure on-time employment start date
  • Act as a liaison between trainees and relevant WIZZ management in case of any trainee need outside onboarding processes
  • Organise and hold / distribute within team online administrative meetings with each training group
  • Update any informative presentations / documents for standardized processes
  • Keeping knowledge pool updated for the Onboarding team to be able to give standardized answers to trainee queries
  • Propose solutions of process/system development to automate and digitize processes
  • In case of development need in onboarding processes, mark the improvement areas and in cooperation with the relevant department implement them.

Requirements:

  • Must be dynamic and enjoy working in a fast-paced office environment
  • 1 year of relevant professional experience
  • Must be computer literate, with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Works effectively both as an individual and as a key team member
  • Ability to lead and supervise team members
  • Ability to work under pressure – within time constraints
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines
  • Good communicator in English both written and verbal
  • A positive and proactive, can-do attitude
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical and logical approach
  • Committed, hardworking, organized personality
