Are you an enthusiastic storyteller with extensive experience in making consumers fall in love with a brand? If you’re a marketeer looking to join a growing global luxury brand, then this is something for you; Bang & Olufsen is seeking a Global Brand Manager to join the HQ marketing team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Key responsibilities

As a Global Brand Manager, you will be instrumental in creating and driving global brand strategies that communicate our most important values and connect our brand to our diverse audiences. You will guide and facilitate the evolution of our cross-functional strategic input, enable key design and innovation stories, and empower creativity across the business through clear strategic planning.

More specifically, you will:
Develop and orchestrate activation plans for Global campaigns and product launches and ensure consistent execution across all major consumer touchpoints and channels of the brand.

Be the go-to person and adviser and act as a single point of contact for Global & Regional Marketing teams, Product Marketing, Retail, Digital on new product launches and campaign related questions and updates

Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Design, Product, Digital, Retail and regional marketing teams.

Define and agree campaign goals and KPIs per initiative including but not limited to brand awareness and positioning, traffic and revenue, new customer acquisition and retention/loyalty/frequency of purchase.

Understand the creative process and have deep experience in constructing creative briefs, providing feedback and delivering creative in market that evokes emotion with target consumers, tells compelling stories and delivers to brand strategy.

Work with Data & Insights team to expand knowledge around customer behaviour & insights and performance to continually mature execution level of campaigns.

Leverage consumer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis to inform and drive strategic decisions

Keep on top of consumers and market insights, trends, and development on an ongoing basis. Consider different customer segments in marketing – always asking who we are speaking to and how.

What you bring

We are looking for a collaborative, agile and motivated individual to implement key moments to ensure that we inspire and engage our community in all organic and bought media touchpoints. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of brand, the creative process and experiential, digital and social marketing.

To be successful in this role, you bring demonstrated experience from a senior marketing role and skills from managing projects and processes in a B2C brand. You also have team leadership experience and enhanced stakeholder management skills that allows you to navigate a corporate environment.

Moreover, you bring:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or equivalent Master’s Degree in marketing or relevant field.

5+ years of related marketing experience of increasingly responsibility.

Experience with multi-channel marketing, communications and industry-specific go-to-market experience

Proven understanding of consumer messaging, brand building, demand creation and planning.

Have solid understanding of Owned, Earned and Paid Media and be able to spar with team members and advise stakeholders.

Have experience with collaboration on multiple corporate levels, both upwards and downwards as well as navigating external relationships with agencies

Process and detail oriented

Advanced communicator, fluency in English is mandatory

Ability to balance responsibilities and move among several projects simultaneously, set goals, and prioritize tasks

Develops collaborative and diverse relationships

Ability to understand, assess & problem solve by leveraging technical and analytical skills

Ability to work efficiently and acquire new knowledge as necessary for tasks or projects

Ability to think and act quickly based on market pressure

Ability to utilize both data and intuition to solve problems

You inspire breakthrough thinking and aim for continuous improvement

You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity

What we offer

As part of the global marketing team in Lyngby, Denmark, you will report to the Global Director, Marketing & Communication. This position will collaborate with multiple stakeholders internally and externally. You will play an integral part in the Marketing department and collaborate with IT, Finance and local Marketing teams around the globe.

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package.
